Gazelle Cayo C1 HMF Electric Bike

The aluminium frame combines an active riding position with consistent handling, and the belt drive minimises the bike's maintenance needs. Thanks to the smart connection with the Gazelle app, you always have insight into your ride data and pedal assist mode.

Frame and motor
The aluminium frame of the Cayo C1 HMF is light yet strong. The active geometry ensures a stable and highly responsive ride, and with the low-entry version getting on and off the bike is very easy. Add the motor with 60 Nm of torque motor, and the Cayo makes for powerful and smooth cycling. The rigid front frame without suspension ensures direct power transfer and controlled handling.

Belt drive and brakes
This electric bike has a single-speed system, which in fact means it has no gears and you don't have to concern yourself with gear shifting. The drivetrain requires little maintenance due to the reliable and durable Gates belt and the lack of gear parts, ideal for everyday use. Braking power comes from the hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm front and rear rotors, which ensure consistent performance.

Smartphone mount
The bike has an integrated Quad Lock system. If you have a Quad Lock case on your phone, you can easily attach it to the bike to get the most out of your Cayo via the Gazelle app. The Quad Lock mount also charges your phone automatically. And if you raise the small LED display on the frame, a USB-C port opens up, ideal for charging your devices with the bike battery.

Finish and details
The Cayo C1 HMF electric city bike features double-walled aluminium rims for extra strength and durability. The tyres are tailored for urban use and provide grip and comfort on both asphalt and light dirt roads. The lights are powered by the bike's battery; the front light delivers 110 lux, making you highly visible to others and also able to see far ahead in the dark yourself. A front and a rear carrier are optionally available to make the bike even more practical.
